In Florida, in Tampa, Jason Colon, while listening to music, caught fire from one of the wireless headphones AirPods. Reports the edition about it WFLA.
“This is the craziest thing that has ever happened to me,” Colon said.
The incident occurred while training in the gym. The man felt an unpleasant smell and saw the smoke and pulled out the gadget. The man left the earpiece on the simulator and went for help to the staff of the hall. When he came back, the earphone burned out.
“When I returned, he was already charred. I didn't see it happen. But I don’t know what would have happened to my ear if I hadn’t pulled out the earphone in time. I think my earlobe would have been damaged,” the man said.
Representatives of the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), contacted a man to investigate further.
