Missouri resident wins $ 50 000 following the advice of a fortune cookie
The recommendation for action, which a Missouri resident read in a note embedded in a fortune cookie, helped her win the jackpot worth 50 thousand dollars. That's how it came out.

The Smith-Davis Foundation from Summit Lee said that she was going to have dinner with her son and decided to break the prediction biscuits in order to read the inscription on the note, reports UPI. The note read: “Play and win big!”, which the woman did.
So the cookie inspired Smith-Davies to try their hand at the lottery.
"I don't usually play games like this, but the fortune cookie said, 'Play and win big!' So I took the plunge,” says Smith-Davies.

The woman did some research on the state lottery website beforehand and decided to try four scratch games, including a $5 Gold Rush ticket. It was this game, the last one in which she took part, that brought the winner $50.
“I wiped off the protective coating at home and the last ticket won $50,” Smith-Davis said. “My son screamed so loudly!”
