YouTube has announced the launch of live TV channels
YouTube offers viewers to watch TV without a subscription to cable or satellite television.
On Tuesday, February 28, the company announced the launch of YouTubeTV. This service will cost $ 35 per month. For this money, you can watch TV from 6 different accounts. 40 will be available to users of various channels, including USA, FX, Freeform, ESPN, Fox Sports and NBC Sports.
This service will allow people to watch TV on any device. In addition, users can record any program. YouTube CEO Susan Vodzhiski noted that some materials will be blocked on the mobile, but will be available on a TV or computer. This is primarily relevant to the NFL games.
The service will soon be available in the United States, as long as anyone is offered to subscribe to alerts.
The news comes at a time when more and more Americans are ready to abandon cable TV. This is evidenced by a study conducted by GfK, which shows that a quarter of American families are not subscribed to pay TV.
