In the US, thousands of Americans took to the streets of major cities, dissatisfied with the victory of the Republican candidate Donald Trump in the presidential election.
In Washington, several people gathered outside the White House. They hold banners with slogans condemning racism, sexism and xenophobia. Protesters say they intend to continue to fight for their rights.
In California, schoolchildren and students left class and staged demonstrations on campuses.
In Los Angeles, hundreds of youth gathered outside City Hall and shouted: “Trump is not my president!” - and burned an effigy of Trump.

In Pennsylvania, hundreds of students at the University of Pittsburgh marched through the streets.
Protests were also observed in Arizona, Iowa, Colorado, Massachusetts, Washington.
Protesters blocked the roads, in some cities, students set fire to garbage cans.
The police said that at the moment there is no information about those arrested or injured as a result of the protests.
In New York, protesters marched to the Trump Tower, where Donald Trump is supposed to be now. There are several sand trucks near the building, closing the entrance.
Donald Trump won the election that took place on November 8, and will become the US 45 president.
The counting of votes is still ongoing, but his rival Hillary Clinton - the Democratic candidate - recognized defeat.
Trump's win congratulated also current US President Barack Obama.
Trump's victory was unexpected for many. White House spokesman Josh Ernest admitted that almost every public opinion poll on voters' preferences turned out to be false.
