Irishman Kairi Caulfield bought a dream home in the Virgin Islands. His dream came true, but after five days a powerful hurricane Irma came and partially destroyed the house, like all the other buildings on the island.

The man decided not to lose heart and recorded a comic video, which shows the degree of destruction.

“It’s the walls, the walls are fine. This is the kitchen, oh, and the barbecue is here. Another one from the wall, great. A glass jar that remained intact and undamaged in an upright position. And then — everyone pay attention — there are no walls,” says Caulfield. He says that five days after buying the house, half the walls are missing, but adds sarcastically that he still wanted to cut down the tree that survived the hurricane. Then the camera moves to the roof, which is also not there.

"What can I say? Could be worse. I might not find Guinness (beer),” the Irishman said jokingly, sipping from a can.

Later it turned out that Caulfield and his pregnant wife and two adult children were in the house at the time of the hurricane.
