In the churches of Russia will pray for import substitution
After Easter, in mid-April, prayers will be read in Russia to help farmers and develop import substitution in Russia. The deputy chairman of the Synodal Department for Interaction between the Church and the Society of the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC), Priest Roman Bogdosarov, spoke about this.
According to him, small-scale agricultural producers are often ruined due to the lack of sufficient support from the state. Prayers to help the peasants are planned to be made permanent, and they will be performed at any time convenient for the citizens. Now, in the Church of St. Nicholas in the Three Hills in the center of Moscow, prayers are already held to help currency borrowers.
“Peasants (farmers) feel constant pressure from both regional authorities and producers of seeds and mineral fertilizers, which have risen sharply in price today. But people working on the land are trying to improve our Russian agriculture, get a good harvest and, as a result, contribute to the process of import substitution in the country,” says Bogdosarova.
In addition, now in the Church of St. Nicholas on the Three Hills in the center of Moscow, prayers are held to help currency borrowers.
