34 million Japanese cars are being withdrawn in the USA

In the US, Japanese manufacturers recall almost 34 a million of their cars, which is the largest such case in the entire automotive industry.

The cars are being recalled for one reason - they use Takata airbags, which have caused the deaths of at least five people.

Some airbags of this company are opened with too much force, showered the driver and passengers with shards of plastic parts of the car.

Components Takata used eleven automakers, including Japanese automakers Honda, Toyota and Nissan.
