In New York in March, the grandiose will be held for the first time. Gala Concert Kyrgyz classical and folk music in the famous Merkin Concert Hall.

Kyrgyz American Foundation will present a unique evening of Kyrgyz classical and national music in one of the most prestigious halls in New York, the Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Music Center.

Stars of American and Kyrgyz music, pianists Aza Sydykov, Joel Martin, Kairy Koshoeva, Jonathan Levin, opera diva Nicoleta Rallis, cellist Nurmira Grinberg, as well as komuz players Perizat Kopobaeva and Elvira Abdilova will present to the New York public masterpieces of outstanding Kyrgyz composers - Ataya Ogonbaeva, Niyazaly , Kalyya Moldobasanov, Vladimir Fere, Tashtan Ermatov, Mikhail Burshtin, Muratbek Begaliev and Zhylddyz Maldybaeva. The program will also feature works by American composers - Gershwin, Lewin and Thomson.

“Through our unique arts and educational programs and events in the United States, we strive to introduce people of all nationalities living in this country to its wonderful culture and history, thus bringing our peoples and countries closer together,” says Kyrgyz American Foundation President Aza Sydykov.

“This gala concert will be a truly historic event, marking the debut for our young organization in the capital of the world, New York, which through its activities represents the rich cultural traditions of Kyrgyzstan on the best stages and venues in America,” says the Foundation’s Vice President, pianist and composer Jonathan Levine.

The Kyrgyz American Foundation was created by 3 famous New York artists - Azamat Sydykov, Jonathan Levin and Nicoleta Rallis. The goal of the Kyrgyz American Foundation is to strengthen humanitarian, civic and cultural ties between the United States and Kyrgyzstan, supporting the values ​​of freedom and enlightenment through education and culture.

Gala Concert Kyrgyz classical and folk music in the famous Merkin Concert Hall will be held on March 16 at 8 hours of the evening.
