In Moscow, said goodbye to Dmitry Hvorostovsky

On November 27, a farewell ceremony for opera singer Dmitry Hvorostovsky was held at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow. The event was attended by thousands of people - friends, colleagues, fans and students of the artist, reports “The first channel".

His voice sounded in the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall: recordings of opera arias and lyrical melodies. Over the entrance to the philharmonic society hung a portrait of Hvorostovsky and the inscription "Forever with us."

Among the guests of the ceremony were future opera singers from China who studied with the great baritone. According to them, Hvorostovsky’s death is a loss not only for Russia; it is also mourned in China, as well as in many other countries of the world.

“We sincerely loved him and waited always to meet him. Russia is eternal, Russia will always be, and you, Dima, in this Russia are on the gold list, ”said People's Artist of the USSR Iosif Kobzon.

“Dima was a completely unique person. We were proud of him, we admired him, we worried with him, we were happy and enjoyed his absolutely amazing art, ”said People’s Artist of the RSFSR Lev Leschenko.

Recall Hvorostovsky died November 22 after two and a half years of fighting brain cancer.
