In Michigan, 21-year-old Mary Zolkowski was sentenced to prison day 45 for false accusation of rape, writes Fox News.

The girl admitted that she lied about being raped in a parking lot in Delta College in Bay County, Michigan.

Judge Joseph Sheeran also sent the girl for a psychological examination. He decided not to count the time already served.

The judge sentenced the girl to 45 prison days and two years of probation. If the girl breaks the rules of the conditional term, then she will add another 220 days in prison. Zolovski will also be tested for drugs and alcohol, and she will attend substance abuse counseling.

Last year, the girl told her mother that they allegedly raped her in a parking lot at the campus, but she never called the names of the suspects. Later, the girl said she was “raped before, not on the college campus” and “she was ashamed of the circumstances of the incident.”

First, the girl told the police that she was walking to her car when a man attacked her from behind. He allegedly held her by the throat so that she could only see her hands. After the attack, she said, the man disappeared before she saw his face.

In August, 2017 reported that the girl refused a medical examination.

During the second meeting with the police, she said that the suspect was a friend of hers and raped her in the apartment.
