In Cleveland, the ambulance did not come to the man who was shot 16 once

In Cleveland, the ambulance did not arrive at a call to 22-year-old Ronald Newberry, who was shot at 16 once, writes CNN.

A man was attacked in the suburb of Uklida, Ohio, near Cleveland. The police officers called an ambulance and provided the victim with first aid. But the ambulance never arrived.

The incident was recorded on a police video camera. On the record, you can hear the police call for medical assistance. But they faced a problem, all the ambulances from Euclid were busy with other challenges, so they had to wait for an ambulance from the city further. Cleveland's EMS refused to send the car because the man was in Euclid.

The police transferred the man to his patrol car and took him to a hospital in Euclid, which was located in 2 minutes from the scene of the incident.

Police report that Newberry injured his chest, shoulder, knee, right arm and left leg. He was later transported by helicopter to Cleveland, where he undergoes further treatment.

Cleveland city spokesman Dan Williams said he was investigating.

It is noted that the Cleveland EMS directive dated November 2013 states that "the unit may travel outside the city of Cleveland when transporting a patient to a hospital or in response to a call received."

The head of the fire service of the city of Uklid Chris Haddock said that during the incident in the city there was a fire.
“If this had happened in Cleveland, on the Euclid border, we would have answered the call. According to our rules, we must transport the patient to the nearest most appropriate hospital,” he said.
