Which states have the best school education?
The quality of education in the US varies from state to state. The SAT test, which was canceled in many institutions due to the pandemic, can be considered an indicator of the level of knowledge, but now it is returning again, reports SiLive.
The total score for the SAT is made up of scores for two sections - Evidence-Based Reading and Writing (ERW) and mathematics, for each of which you can get from 200 to 800 points. Thus, the total score is 400-1600 points.
Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, colleges have temporarily suspended SAT and ACT testing requirements for admission.
According to fair test, Currently, over 1900 colleges and universities do not require SAT and ACT scores for fall 2023 admissions. However, several universities have now decided to make these tests mandatory for undergraduate applicants.

Stacker, a data tracking website, recently ranked states based on SAT scores using College Board data provided by PrepScholar. The rankings include each state's average composite scores, as well as average reading and writing scores based on EBRW and math, and the number of test takers. The analysis includes states where at least 20% of students took the SAT.
