In Philadelphia, a man opened fire at a Walmart store

The man opened fire at a Walmart store, injuring five people after a dispute with a client.

30-year-old Keenan Jones is accused of having pulled a pistol from the belt of a woman he was with and opened fire at a store in Cheltenham, Philadelphia.

Then he tried to escape in his car before crashing into a parked police car. The police managed to arrest him.

Two law enforcement officers who were in the patrol car into which the attacker had crashed were hospitalized.

The man managed to shoot at least ten times at a time when customers and employees of Walmart ran into shelters during the chaos.

During the incident, the store manager, a cashier, and two women, aged 40, were injured in the legs. Another victim was fatally injured. The sixth victim was a pregnant woman. She was not injured, but was injured when falling to the floor.

The police suggested that Jones was under the influence of "some drugs" at the time of the attack, and he was in the store with his sister.

“I can tell you that a 30-year-old male tested positive for drugs and alcohol,” Philadelphia Chief Inspector Scott Maly said.

Jones is charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault in Philadelphia.
