According to the investigation, clear signs of a head injury were found on the girl’s body, including bruises around her face and a large hematoma on her forehead. The evidence that helped identify the killer included a drawing in Reyes’s house, which showed Da Silva, and the use of her bank card around 5 in the morning on January 29.

Reyes went missing on January 30, her body was found in a suitcase near February Greenwich Highway 5.
