Wife of Israeli Deputy Prime Minister apologized for the joke about Obama

Judy Shalom Nir-Mozes, who is the wife of Israeli Deputy Prime Minister Silvan Shalom, had to apologize for the racist joke about Obama.

She posted the following on Twitter: “Do you know what Obama coffee is? Black and weak." A few minutes later she deleted the post. But about 75 thousand subscribers saw it and managed to take screenshots and then spread it across the Internet.

Shalom Nir-Moses had to immediately publish his apologies. She first wrote in Hebrew, and then in English.

“I heard a stupid and unsuccessful joke and quoted it, and did something stupid. I didn't want this, it's ugly and disrespectful. I'm sorry, it was just a stupid joke someone told me. I shouldn’t have posted this,” wrote Shalom Nir-Moses.

She also admitted that the spouse does not yet know about this incident, she is afraid of his angry reaction.
