Co-founder of Facebook will allocate $ 20 million to fight against Trump

One of the founders of the social networking site Facebook, Dustin Moskowitz, will allocate $ 20 million to prevent the victory of the candidate of the US Republican Party Donald Trump in the presidential election.

Such a statement is very unexpected for a person who has never been involved in politics before, writes CNN.

Moskovits, whose general condition is estimated at $10 billion, promised to split $ 20 million between six groups of Democrats fighting against Trump, including some of the money will go to the headquarters of Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton. Such a donation amount will make Moskowitz the third most generous donor in the 2016 election campaign of the year, giving way to Californian billionaire and democratic activist Tom Stayer (donating Clinton $ 30 million) and Trump's main sponsor Bob Mercer (allocated a little more than $ 20 million to Trump headquarters).

“Like many Democratic voters, we do not support every aspect of their political platform, but it is clear that if Clinton wins the election, America will be much closer to the world we want to see. If Donald Trump wins, the country will roll back and become more isolated from the world community,” says the Facebook co-founder.

Moskowitz also calls Trump's campaign promises "unconvincing" and believes Trump's immigration policies will "harm both citizens and foreigners."
