Snowden wants to move to Switzerland

Edward Snowden spoke of his desire to return to Geneva, where he lived from 2009 to 2011 a year. The American said this during the Moscow-Geneva TV-bridge.

“I think that Switzerland would be a great place from a political point of view, as it always tried to be neutral. I think that this decision could be acceptable to the American government, ”he said.

When asked whether he plans to return to the United States, Snowden replied that his lawyers are now working on this issue. “However, at the moment, the US Department of Justice does not want to deal with the issue of organizing a fair public process. They simply promised that they would not execute me, and this is very encouraging, ”the former US intelligence officer added.

3 March Russian lawyer Anatoly Kucherena said that lawyers are working on the possibility of returning Snowden to their homeland. According to the lawyer, the former intelligence officer is ready to come to the United States only with the guarantee of a fair trial.
