Russian pianist Nikita Galaktionov will give a concert in New York

The skill level of a young musician has repeatedly hit the audience in New York.

His teacher, Arkady Sevidov, a professor at the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory, himself a magnificent pianist who has traveled all over the world and repeatedly performed at Carnegie Hall, managed to make this student a sensitive and original thinking artist.

A special role in the upbringing and development of Nikita as a professional pianist was played by their joint performances with the program “Maestro and his student”. The audience of Rome, Prague, Vienna, Milan, Washington, Vilnius, Tallinn had the opportunity to hear this amazing combination of assertive youth and reasonable wisdom.

Nikita Galaktionov is the first Russian musician to create a music video based on Liszt’s Libestraimum or Dreams of Love. Nikita acted as a pianist and actor in the video. Nikita's teacher Arkady Sevidov also took part in the creation of the video. This clip was viewed more than half a million times on a popular forum dedicated to classical music - forumklassika.ru.

One of Nikita’s favorite composers is Anton Rubinstein, the founder of classical music education in Russia, the pianist-wunderkind, composer and conductor. Nikita performed the fourth Rubinstein concerto for piano and orchestra in February 2015. The best compositions of Rubinstein became an integral part of Nikita's solo repertoire, with whom he performed in Rome, Prague, Vienna, Vilnius, Tallinn, Milan and several cities in Russia, unconditionally conquering the public.
