The Russian who disappeared in Sweden laid out moss "Help" to be rescued

Swedish rescuers found a missing Russian tourist on the Grit archipelago.

The reference for them was the word "Help"Which he laid out of moss, according to the channel SVT.

An 30-year-old man bought a boat in Stockholm and planned to sail it to Spain. He went to sea on October 23, and his last contact with his relatives was on the night of October 25, then he said that he was located to the north-east of Arkosund in Ostergötland.

After he did not get in touch at the scheduled time the next day, his relatives turned to the rescue service. The Russians were searched using a helicopter and a coast guard ship.

On October 27, rescuers found his belongings and parts of a boat in the sea near the Hartens Island, and later a tourist himself was discovered on the Grit Archipelago. What exactly happened to the Russian is not yet clear; the boat probably crashed, but it did not give an alarm.

Now the man is in the hospital, nothing threatens his life and health, but for the time being he remains to be watched.
