A representative of the ultra-orthodox Jewish community in New York has been subjected to an anti-Semitic attack.

Last weekend, a representative of the ultra-orthodox Jewish community of New York, returning home from the synagogue, was attacked by an attacker who insulted and beat him.

This anti-Semitic incident, the second in the last two weeks, occurred on Saturday, around 13: 30 on the time of the US Eastern Coast in the Brooklyn quarter of Crown Heights, writes NewsRu with reference to CrownHights.info.

Потерпевший рассказал журналистам, что он пожелал доброго дня человеку, который стоял на углу улицы и курил сигару. В ответ тот закричал: «Вы, евреи, лицемеры! Какого черта вы здороваетесь? Вы меня ограбили, украли ипотеку и отняли мой дом. Я хочу убить тебя!».

The Jew hurried away from the rowdy, but he did not manage to go far. The attacker overtook him, threw a noose around his neck and threatened to strangle. To help the victim arrived in time, two passing by women, who drove off the gangster.

Потерпевший вызвал по телефону добровольцев еврейской службы спасения «Ацала», которые уведомили о происшедшем полицию.

The victim of the attack was taken to hospital, where he was diagnosed with a rib fracture, as well as numerous scratches and bruises. Police are investigating this incident as a hate crime.
