New York City police investigate 89-year-old woman sexually assaulted
In New York, in the District of Rockland, law enforcement officers are investigating a sexual assault on a 89-year-old woman, writes NBC.
Police say the victim has memory lapses and this makes it difficult to get information about the attack.
“Memory loss makes it difficult for investigators to find additional information. This is certainly something that is outside the norm for any part of this city,” said Pete Walker with the Clarkstown Police Department.
Militiamen classified the incident as a sexual assault after a medical examination. The attack took place on Tuesday between 17: 00 PM and 5: 00 in the morning near College Avenue and First Street in Nanuet.
Police ask anyone who saw something or has other information about the attack to contact Clarkstown investigators by calling: 845-639-5800.
