Obama has limited the police in the supply of some military gear

US President Barack Obama (Barack Obama), nine months after police in uniforms to fight street riots, dispersed the demonstrators, banned federal services to provide some military equipment to the police. He also called for more rigorous control of weapons and other equipment transferred to human rights bodies.

The announcement was made, despite the fact that last year the White House suggested that Obama would stick to a program that would use military equipment to respond to events such as last year’s protests in Ferguson, Missouri. However, an inter-ministerial commission found that there is a “risk of improper or excessive” use of armored vehicles, firearms, and other equipment that will undermine trust in the police.
