An accidental driver ripped off a woman’s rape attempt in a pickup truck.

The man who was driving to work tore off a rape attempt after seeing a 28-year-old woman with her mouth taped to the back of a pickup truck and knocking on the window. Her mouth was taped, and there was fear in her eyes that caused the police to call.

Taylor O'Neill said that he was driving to work around 16: 30 down the lane in Santa Anna and could not drive around the pickup truck that blocked the road. He signaled, but the car did not budge, so Taylor headed for the driver.

“When I knocked on the window, the woman looked up and I saw duct tape on her face and fear in her eyes,” O’Neill said.

The police arrived at the scene and arrested 27-year-old Jorge Alejandro Cruz de Armas, who first offered a woman to give her a lift Wells Fargo. Instead of going to the bank, De Armas stopped at an alley and began to pester her. As soon as he received a refusal, he taped his mouth with tape to keep her from screaming. And then O'Neill knocked on the window and thus interrupted the alleged attack, police said.

Despite the fact that the woman escaped from the pickup, and De Armas left, O'Neill managed to photograph the license plate cars.

“I had the phone in my left hand and was able to take a photo of his license plate and when he drove away I immediately called 911,” O'Neal recalled.

Police found a car and arrested De Armas. He is charged with several counts, including an assault with intent to commit rape. The police are confident that there were more victims.
