Designer Antonio Urzi invited models with disabilities to present his collection.
FTL Moda brand designer Antonio Urzi presented his new collection called “Loving You” at Fashion Week in New York (USA), which was demonstrated by models in wheelchairs, The Daily Mail reports.
The show was held in collaboration with Fondazione Vertical - the Italian Foundation for the Support of Scientific Research Studying Diseases of the Spinal Cord.
British coach Jack Ayres became the first amputee man who was given the opportunity to go to the podium of Fashion Week. Ayrs was left without a leg at the age of 16. The reason for the amputation was a congenital proximal focal defect of the thigh.
“I did not know what to expect, so I was very nervous. I wanted to show that disability is not a reason to give up. I am happy that I have the honor to wear clothes from such a famous designer, “- Jack Ayres shared his impressions.
