From the occupied Donetsk in Russia took the archive of the Strugatsky brothers

The archive of the world-famous writers of the Strugatsky brothers was brought from Donetsk to Russia and is currently in Rostov. This was announced on Saturday by the Deputy Chairman of the Writers' Union of the self-proclaimed DNR, Vladislav Rusanov.

“On the night of May 15-16, the archive crossed the border, went through Russian customs, and is now in Rostov,” Rusanov said.

The archive contains manuscripts of almost all works written by the Strugatsky, as well as their correspondence and drawings.

According to Donetsk writer Vladimir Skobtsov, the transfer of the archive took place in secrecy.

The archives of Arkady and Boris Strugatsky were in Donetsk, and in January 2015, they decided to transport him to St. Petersburg. The documents will be placed in the apartment of Boris Strugatsky, which is now owned by his son Andrei. Science fiction writers Arkady and Boris Strugatsky co-authored over 25 science fiction novels, short stories and short stories that became classics of the genre and the basis of numerous screen versions, including famous directors Andrei Tarkovsky and Alexey German.
