At the G-20 summit in Hamburg, US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a second meeting. This was reported on Tuesday by the agency. Reuters, with reference to the representative of the White House.
The details of the meeting are not known, but earlier the founder and head of an international research and consulting firm Eurasia Group Ian Bremmer said that she passed in the evening and lasted about an hour.
“They had a meeting where not many people were present: [US Secretary of State Rex] Tillerson, interpreters, [Russian Foreign Minister Sergei] Lavrov and Putin, the meeting lasted more than two hours. And after that, they had another hour-long meeting in the evening, which no one had even heard of,” Bremmer said in an interview with the agency on Tuesday Bloomberg.
Recall, previously reported only one meeting of Trump and Putin in the fields of G20 in Hamburg. It lasted 2 hours 15 minutes, although it was originally calculated for about half an hour. The leaders discussed a number of issues relating to bilateral relations, as well as touched on conflicts in Syria and Ukraine, the situation around North Korea and cyber security.
