Amateur physicists from Lugansk became stars YouTube

Friends from the Ukrainian city of Lugansk, Pavel Pavlov and Alexander Kryukov became real YouTube stars. These amateur physicists amazed the entire Internet with their experiments and creative ideas.

Despite the difficult situation in Lugansk, friends did not leave their hometown, destroyed by war. Many relatives and friends have left, it is very difficult to find a job, wages are meager, and prices are huge. In addition, interruptions in the light often occur in Lugansk. The guys had to feed their sick relatives and somehow earn a living. But they did not even suspect that their hobby and YouTube would help them in this.

Before the war, the guys earned their living by repairing small household appliances. They still continue to do this, but people have so little money that the guys often repair something just for lunch or sandwiches.

In the summer of 2014, when almost the entire Lugansk lived for three months without electricity, Pavel and Alexander came up with a bicycle generator. It was necessary to pedal the bike for an hour to use the computer, electric kettle and other equipment all day.

Friends created their own channel on YouTube called “Kreosan”. Now they already have almost 190 thousand subscribers. There is also a VKontakte group “KREOSAN - creative experiments”.

Their most scandalous videos that shocked the Internet: “What a microwave can do,” “How to charge a phone from railway tracks.”

Pavel and Alexander admit that they did not expect such popularity. When they found out that their videos were getting thousands of views in one day, they didn’t believe it for a long time and thought that YouTube was creating “cheats.”

The guys have no professional equipment. For selfie instead of monopod, they use a branch. To protect the camcorder from shocks, the usual foam is used. All experiments are mainly carried out in the courtyard of a private house in which grandmother Alexander lives.

The guys have many plans and goals. They dream of turning their popularity on the Internet into a source of stable income. They want to go to Chernobyl someday. Another dream of the guys - to fly in a hot air balloon - is still unrealistic: there is a war in the east of Ukraine, and this is impossible.
