The FBI found a bank robber on his Instagram photo
The FBI has detained 31-year-old Paul Lubin from Florida, suspected of robbing 6 of the Chase network banks, thanks to a photo he posted on his page on Instagram.
Robberies occurred at the end of 2016, reports Daily Mail.
Investigators calculated him from a photo in which he was wearing the same “characteristic white sweatshirt with black horizontal stripes” in which he was observed by surveillance cameras during one of the latest bank robberies.
In addition, he posted his photo on Instagram near a pile of cash.
During the robberies, he handed in each bank a note to the cashier, stating that he was armed and demanded to put $ 5 thousand in an envelope, otherwise the visitors of the bank would suffer.
In a note, he advised him not to "anger" him and stressed that "the security of all depends on the actions of the cashier."
Cashiers gave him money, and Lubin didn’t even have to get a gun; in total, he stole $ 25 thousands in this way (the amounts in different banks differed).
Investigators found his fingerprints on the notes left by the tellers.
Last heist committed 4 on January 2017 of the year, receiving about $ 7 thousands.
