Part of the landing gear is torn off, the nose cone is damaged: in Maine the plane landed badly

Officials say the pilot and four passengers were slightly injured when the United Express slipped off the runway during a blizzard in northern Maine.

Officials said that the pilot interrupted the first attempt to land the plane and asked to turn on the lights on the runway due to poor visibility. The incident occurred in 11: 30 on Monday, 4 March.

The 50-seat Embraer 145 has landed on the east side of the runway of Presque Isle Regional Airport. The plane was in a snowdrift, part of the chassis was torn off, the nose cone was damaged.

Officials reported that on the CommutAir flight from Newark, New Jersey, there were 28 passengers and three crew members. The injured passengers were treated and released.
