In Texas, a driver killed three people and died, leaving a wounded son

Police are looking for a pickup driver who hit three people while they were trying to change a flat tire on a highway in Dallas, Texas. According to the authorities, the man left the scene on foot, leaving his wounded 12-year-old son in the car.

Everything happened around 3: 30 night 10 March on the highway Interstate 635, writes NBC New York. Police identified the driver as Jesus Chavarria-Vazquez.

An investigation revealed that the gray SUV Rav 4 2005 of the year stood with the engine off on the east side of the highway. Three of his passengers were outside, trying to fix a flat tire. At this time, a pickup Chevy Silverado, driven by Chavarria-Vazquez, flew into a group of people. All three died, and two more people sitting in Rav 4 were injured.

The victims are 22-year-old Hugh Doan, 23-year-old David Nguyen and 23-year-old Christopher Fam. In a month, Doana should have been 23. Young people were driving home after the concert, when their car had a flat tire.

One of the victims, who was sitting in the SUV, was sent to a local hospital with serious injuries, the second is being questioned by police and was also taken to the hospital.

12-year-old son of Chavarria-Vasquez, whom his father threw in the car, was sent to the hospital, where his mother took care of him. The police did not report how serious his injuries were, it is only known that the boy suffered as a result of the blow.

Doan's sister said her older brother received a degree in bioengineering from the University of Texas at Dallas last year. He dreamed of becoming a medical technician and creating prosthetics. The young man's family publicly asked Chavarria-Vazquez to turn himself in, promising that they "forgive" him and "don't hold a grudge."

According to the police, if Chavarria-Vasquez is found, he will be accused of manslaughter and refusal to help.
