Seven Warhol paintings with soup cans were stolen from a museum in Missouri
Unidentified people stole seven paintings by American artist Andy Warhol depicting cans of Campbell's soup from a museum in the American city of Springfield, Mississippi.
According to the FBI, the theft took place on April 7. The department does not specify her circumstances. We only know that all seven stolen paintings are part of a series of ten paintings dedicated to Campbell Soup.
The FBI offers a reward of 25 thousand dollars for information about stolen works. The cost of the stolen paintings in the message is not given, but it is known that the entire cycle of ten paintings is estimated at about half a million dollars.
Paintings of various quantities of cans of Campbell's soup were among Warhol's works that brought him worldwide fame. He wrote them in 1962.
