The famous extreme sportsman who conquered the tallest buildings in the world died after falling off the wall of a skyscraper in Hong Kong
French extreme, who is known for his high-altitude stunts, died. On July 27, he fell from the 68th floor of an apartment building in Hong Kong, reports New York Post.
30-year-old Remy Lucidi, known online as Remy Enigma, fell off the wall of the Tregunter Tower complex. Lucidi was declared dead at the scene.
He traveled the world in search of dizzying heights and documented his perilous adventures on social media. During all his ascents and descents from high-rise buildings, the extreme did not use safety belts.
According to Hong Kong officials, Lucidi arrived at the building around 18:00 pm and told a security guard that he was visiting a friend on the 40th floor.

A security officer attempted to apprehend Lucidi after the alleged friend did not confirm knowing Lucidi. But by then the stuntman had already entered the elevator.
CCTV footage shows Lucidi climbing to the 49th floor and then climbing the stairs to the roof of the building. According to the guards who followed Lucidi, they found the hatch leading to the roof open, but the stuntman himself was nowhere to be seen.
The man was last seen alive at 19:38 p.m. when he knocked on the penthouse window, prompting the maid to call the police. According to law enforcement officers, Lucidi did not understand where to go next, and asked for help. Shortly after that, he broke down. A camera was found next to the body, on which there were many videos of his other extreme ascents.
Police have not yet released an official cause of death.

According to Gurjit Kaur, owner of the hostel where Luchidi is reported to have taken up residence, the guest was "a friendly and unassuming guy".
“He was healthy, fit and had a happy face,” Kaur said. “I’m very sad.”
Lucidi told a hostel worker that he was in Hong Kong on vacation.
The deceased last posted a photo of Hong Kong at night a week ago on his Instagram account from Times Square in Causeway Bay. Most of his photographs are associated with high-rise buildings around the world. Among the most popular is a selfie from a tower in Dubai with the caption "Above the sky, 425 m", reports Maximum.

Remy Enigma was a prominent figure in the world of extreme sports, admired by many of his followers.
It is known that the Frenchman chose a dangerous hobby in 2016. Since then he has regularly climbed skyscrapers in Portugal, Bulgaria, Colombia, France, Ukraine and Poland. The guy did not share the details of his personal life.
On his page on the social network, he showed how he climbs the highest structures in the world, and then takes a selfie there.
He made daring climbs without the use of any harness.

In one of Remy's blood-curdling posts, he can be seen teetering on the edge of a 300m-high chimney in France.
Several Lucidi fans expressed their grief on social media.
“Rest in peace brother,” one Instagram follower wrote. “Sad news that no one ever wants to hear about a fellow extreme sportsman.”
“I don’t want to believe it Remy, I don’t want to believe it,” another wrote. “Rest in peace brother, I love you.”
“You will never leave us, you are unique,” wrote a third person.
