Personal experience: 'I married a millionaire, but this life is not as beautiful as you think'

A housewife from the United Arab Emirates, the wife of a millionaire, can afford everything, but only within the strict conditions set by her husband, reports New York Post.

Wealthy housewife Sudi looks like she's living the perfect life, but the perfect life she posts about on social media isn't for everyone.

The British-born woman married millionaire Jamal in 2020 after getting engaged in 2019. The couple resides in Dubai, where they live in luxury, albeit with some reservations.

“When I married my Dubai millionaire, there were a few non-negotiable moments,” Sudi explained in a video posted to her popular TikTok channel. She noticed that some of the conditions would turn off Western brides.

Disadvantages of marriage

Sudi listed the disadvantages of her marriage, among them "the first and biggest" - a husband and wife cannot have friends of the opposite sex. The couple have "phone trackers" on all the time, meaning they can each see where the other is at any given time.

“This is mainly for safety reasons,” Sudi explained. “Also, another benefit is that Jamal doesn’t have to call me 24/7 asking where I am.”

Although her spouse is legally allowed to have another wife, as is customary in the United Arab Emirates, he must first obtain the permission of the Sudi.

In one video, she shared how much her husband spends on her a week: $3500 on makeup and skincare at Sephora, $1,8 million on new cars, and $1500 on a party.

The wife of a millionaire explained that she needed to look perfect all the time, and this requires some work.

“I always have to make sure I look and act a certain way because you never know who is around or who recognizes you,” she explained.

Sudi had to get used to the fact that her husband was not around all the time.

“Being the wife of a millionaire, you just have to understand that he will not always have time for you,” she said.

Sudi says that the need to look perfect, as well as to have everything new and fashionable, is due to the fact that she represents their family.

“If you don’t have the latest bag, then you’re nobody,” she clarified. “I hate feeling left out of these things, so I have the best buyers and personal assistants.” I always get the best of the best."

While endless cash flow may seem like the ultimate dream of a "perfect" life, as many of the wealthy housewife's followers agreed, not all of Sudi's TikTok followers are jealous of her luxurious life.

“This sounds like a nightmare,” one user remarked. “Money can’t buy love or happiness,” added another.
