Hostages in California's house of veterans died with the attacker
In California in Yuntvile all three women hostages in the house of veterans died, the criminal who captured them is also dead, writes the publication Time.
The attacker was 36-year-old Albert Wong from Sacramento, California, a former army rifleman. He was taken hostage and then killed three employees of the program to support veterans with post-traumatic syndrome Pathway Home.
Died: 48-year-old Christina Lober (executive director, originally from Napa, California), 42-year-old Jennifer Golick (clinical director from St. Helena, California) and 29-year-old Jennifer Gonzalez (clinical psychologist).
At the Napa County Sheriff's office, they report that the shooter initially took more hostages, but then released them.
The police tried to contact the attacker on a mobile phone and through the telephones located in the building, but he did not pick up the phone.
It is noted that the police managed to evacuate children from the 80 building who were rehearsing a play in the veterans' house. The children were not in close proximity during the operation to free the hostages.
Earlier it was reported that the shooter was a member of the program Pathway home for the military with emotional trauma. Two weeks ago he was expelled from this program.
The Veteran House in Yontwil was opened in 1984 and is one of the largest in the USA. 1000 is home to older people and people with disabilities.
