In the US, prices for registration of passports will increase

Beginning April 2, passport fees in the United States will increase by ten dollars.

A passport in the form of a booklet that allows you to travel abroad will cost 145 dollars for adults, and 115 dollars for children younger than 16 years, reports USA Today.

ID cards that are suitable for domestic travel as well as international travel to Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean from April 2 will cost 65 dollars for adults and 50 dollars for children.

The US State Department claims that it increases the cost of producing passports in order to fully cover the costs of processing documents.

The increase in prices for 10 dollars does not apply to a new passport after the expiration of the previous one, which can be arranged by mail.
