Ukrainian company Radioaktive Film has become the best production service of the year. Radioaktive received the 2018 Shots Awards in the Production Service Company Of The Year. About Us

Radioaktive was founded in 1998 by two immigrants from Ukraine - Darko Skulsky and Roman Kindrachuk - together with an American partner.

Most popular works

The first work of Radioaktive Film was a clip for the Russian Memories project. The video was filmed in Kiev, despite the fact that it was late autumn. On the day of the shooting, a severe frost hit, there was no telephone connection or water, which made the entire film crew incredibly complicated. The studio considers its first project to be a real test.

One of the most popular works of Radioaktive Film is the music video for the British group Coldplay for the song Up & Up. Today the video has over 160 million views on YouTube. In 2016, he was awarded the 2016 MTV VMA in the category “Best Visual Effects”.

Another high-profile project was the Paulo Nutini video for the song Iron Sky. After this work, the studio began to receive many offers to make a video in the same style and in similar locations.

In 2017, the Nobody Speak video, which was produced by Radioaktive Film, won the MTV Video Music Awards Award for Best Cinematography.

For the victory in this category competed the authors of the videos Humble Kendrick Lamar, Thunder Imagine Dragons, Сastle of the Hill Ed Sheeran.

The Radioaktive Film team also worked on the video for the song Beautiful Ones of the British band Hurts. The studio was preparing with the British the clip for the song Wings, which director Dawn Schedford took off in Kiev.

This year, the studio worked on a commercial for the annual presentation of Apple. And in May, demonstrated video for smart watches. They filmed a video at the Kiev railway station.

Radioaktive Film also worked with Audi, Hennessy, Lenovo, Libresse and with famous musicians - Twenty One Pilots, Mø, Foals, ONUKA, Okean Elzy.

Awards for commercials

The studio has received numerous awards for advertising work. For example, the most award-winning advertising, which worked on Radioaktive Film, is a commercial for Renault. He received bronze at the Cannes Lions festival.

Not less awards won the movie for Subaru called Crowd Rider, shot for the Australian market.

In 2010, the Heineken Men With Talent commercial also hit the Cannes Lions shortlist.
