A participant in the American TV quiz Jeopardy, during the show, made an offer to his girlfriend, writes Time.

Michael Pascuzzi from Florida changed the course of the traditional interview conducted by Alex Trebek, and asked his girlfriend Maria Schafer a question.
“I just wanted to say very quickly, ask Maria Schafer if she answers, she will make me the winner. Will you marry me?” Pascuzzi asked.
The best man, through the tears, answered "yes."
“Maria, you answered too quickly. “I was going to say we’ll hear the answer to that question after the commercial,” host Trebek joked.
Later, Shafer reformulated her answer to Pascuzzi to make it sound like a quiz question.
