Employees Mount washington observatory showed how the hurricane winds at a speed of 177 km per hour, which one of the meteorologists tried to resist.
The video was published on the official page of the organization in Facebook and in two days I scored a million views and over a thousand comments.
The video captures how an employee of the observatory tries to set a flag to determine the speed and strength of the wind in extremely unfavorable weather. A man struggles to stay on his feet, and at some point loses his balance and falls to the ground, but the flag does not let go of the hands.
The information in the video states that gusts of wind per day reached 110 miles per hour (177 km per hour or 44 meters per second).
Whether the meteorologist succeeded in checking the box is unknown. The organization said that workers no longer walk on deck to install the flag only when the wind reaches 193 km / h.
The Washington Meteorological Observatory is located on top of Mount Washington in New Hampshire.
