Knesset guard made a proposal to the girl on the red carpet

Knesset security officer Guy Gozland made a marriage proposal to his girlfriend Bat-El on the square in front of the Israeli parliament.

In honor of the visit of the President of the National Assembly of Côte d'Ivoire, His Excellency Guillaume Sorot, a red carpet was laid out in front of the Knesset, and security personnel donned ceremonial uniforms.

Guy received special permission from the head of the Knesset security service, Yossi Griff, and half an hour before the delegation from Côte d'Ivoire arrived, he invited Bat El to come to parliament to watch the guard of honor ceremony.

When the girl stepped onto the red carpet, the guards stretched out at attention, Guy came out of the guard, knelt before her and made an offer.

The police orchestra shook Hava Naguila, and Knesset CEO Ronen Plot congratulated the happy couple on their own behalf and on behalf of Speaker Yuli Edelstein.

He also noted that this is the first proposal of the hand and heart that was made on the red carpet of the parliament.

Guy and Bat-El went to celebrate the exciting event, and another security officer replaced Gozland at the reception in honor of the President of the Ivory Coast.
