Al-Qaeda leader calls for terrorist attacks in the US
The al-Qaeda leader called on Muslim youth to “harm the countries of the crusader coalition,” and especially the United States.
He called on young Muslims to follow the example of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and the Kouacha brothers, and become suicide bombers for attacks in cities of Western countries and the USA, and also called for greater unity among Islamist militants, reports The Independent.
“I urge not to doubt all Muslims who can harm the countries of the crusader coalition. We must now focus on the war in the heart of the crusader homes and cities of the West, and in America in particular,” he said.
Prior to this, on September 9, another audio recording of al-Zawahiri was distributed, in which the al-Qaeda leader stated that he did not recognize the caliphate organized by another terrorist group, the Islamic State.
