Poroshenko approved the development strategy of Ukraine, providing for 62 reform
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko (Petro Poroshenko) signed a decree on the sustainable development strategy “Ukraine 2020”, which provides for the implementation of 62 reforms. According to the ministry, the priorities are "reform of the national security and defense system, renewal of power and anti-corruption reform, judicial reform, law enforcement reform, decentralization and reform of public administration, deregulation and development of entrepreneurship, health system reform and tax reform."
Within 5 years, the Ukrainian government intends to achieve 25 key indicators that are outlined in the strategy. In particular, by 2020, in the World Bank Doing Business ranking, Ukraine should be among the top thirty countries where it is easy to do business. “Net receipts of foreign direct investment by 2020 should amount to more than $40 billion, spending on national security and defense should be at least 3 percent of GDP. According to the corruption perception index, which is calculated by Transparency International, Ukraine should enter the top 50 countries in the world,” Poroshenko’s press service said about the plans, writes AmericaRu.com
