A monument to “Polite People” will be unveiled in Russia
In Russia, in the city of Belogorsk, Amur Region, they are going to erect a monument to “Polite People”. He depicts a Russian soldier with a kitten in his hands. It was delivered from the Chelyabinsk region, where the famous architectural and artistic casting plant is located. The monument traveled six thousand kilometers in a week and a half.
The monument will be placed in the center of the city and equipped with video surveillance.
The cost of creating a monument was 1,3 million rubles, it was cast on donations from citizens and legal entities.
“Polite people” refers to the units of the GRU, marines and paratroopers who carried out the operation to annex Crimea from Russia in March 2014.
