In Georgia, a man accused of the death of his children worked as Santa at Walmart
The father, accused of the death of his two teenage children, worked as Santa Claus at Walmart in Georgia during the holidays this year.
50-year-old Alvin Crocker dressed as Santa Claus posed for photos with children a few days before his arrest last week, writes Daily Mail.
The bodies of 14-year-old Mary Crocker and her brother Alvin Crocker Jr., who went missing in 2016 year and who would have turned 16 years this year, were discovered in the forest near the family home in Guyton, GA last week.
The man also has another child with special needs, he was found at home during his arrest, and he is fine. The kid was sent to the hospital for observation, but law enforcement officers said that he looked good and was active.
Local parents worry that their children were sitting on the knees of the murderer of their own children when he worked as Santa Claus at Walmart.
An autopsy will be conducted on the bodies of the dead to confirm the identity, as well as find out the cause of death.
Crocker, along with her stepmother, Candace Crocker, and her 50-year-old mother, Kim Wright, were accused of concealing a person’s death and cruelty to first-degree children.
On December 19, Effingham County police officers were sent to a family home for a welfare check after receiving information about a missing 14-year-old girl, many feared that she was dead.
The adults in the house claimed that Mary went to live with her mother in South Carolina, but the policemen came to the conclusion that their words were a lie.
Militiamen searched Crocker's house, and then the forest belt next to him, where the bodies of the children were found.
Mary Crocker was last seen in October of this year, and her brother Alvin Jr. has not been seen since November 2016. According to Jimmy McDuffie, the sheriff of Effingham County, not a single child has been officially missing.
Law enforcement officers are trying to contact the biological mother of Mary and Alvin Jr., who lives in South Carolina.
According to the sheriff, in the course of the investigation may be brought new charges.
