A new park will appear in Brooklyn
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced the start of construction of the city’s largest park in Brooklyn.
According to him, in the near future, the state will continue to invest in the development of parks in the city of New York, in particular in the completion of the construction of a park zone in Manhattan and the construction of a new park in Brooklyn, reports Brooklyn news.
The largest park in Brooklyn will be built on the site of a large landfill of 407 acres (165 ha) in Jamaica Bay.
Governor Cuomo also intends to expand the state’s climate change programs.
Cuomo launched a program to revitalize more than 200 abandoned parks in New York in 2015, the cost of this initiative is $ 900 million.
