Ukraine in the top 5 most unfortunate economies
This is evidenced by the results of the research agency Bloomberg, during which the level of “unhappiness” was determined based on the unemployment and inflation rates of 51 countries.
According to the agency’s research, Venezuela was the most “unhappy” country in terms of the state of its economy, followed by Argentina and South Africa. In fourth place is Ukraine, fifth place is Greece.
As noted in the agency, the war in the east of the country and tense relations with Russia are causing great harm to the Ukrainian economy. According to official data, the inflation rate in Ukraine last year was 24,9%. It is also worth noting that Bloomberg made its calculations based on the inflation rate of 17,5% and the unemployment rate at 9,5%.
Russia, according to Bloomberg, was in seventh place, immediately after Spain.
