Uber will punish passengers for violating the rules of conduct

If you plan to continue to use the services of Uber, you should know the rules of behavior of passengers in a taxi, which the company recently published on its Online.

Violating one of the rules, you will be added to the Uber blacklist of passengers and you can no longer use its services.

1. Damage to the property of the driver or passenger

The company asks passengers to stop "nauseous" in the back of a taxi. Do not call the car to soil it with food, drink, or steal someone's phone, or to vomit in the cabin due to excessive alcohol consumption.

2. Physical contact with the driver or other passengers

The passenger should not touch or flirt with other people in the car, including the driver.

3. Use profanity or gestures

For example, asking too personal questions, using verbal threats, making comments or gestures that are aggressive, discriminatory, or disrespectful.

4. Do not contact the driver or companion after the trip

For example, send messages or make calls after completing a trip. Remember that in most countries you can call and send a message to the driver directly through the Uber app. This means that your phone number remains unknown, and it is never reported to the driver.

5. Violation of local laws when using Uber

For example, use alcohol or drugs in the car; ride in large groups, where the number of people exceeds the number of seat belts in the car; asking the driver to violate local traffic laws, such as speed limits; commit a crime using Uber services (including drug trafficking and human trafficking, sexual exploitation of children).

The company assures that they will consider any violation of these rules and take measures individually.
