Uber Shipping Service Company now tracks the client’s location even after he has reached his destination and got out of the car.

The Uber application for Android version 3.222.4 automatically "flashing" tracking the location of users, reports Naked Security.

In previous versions, the application recorded the location, if it was launched, the new version monitors clients through the settings on the phone constantly, even when the client does not use the services of the company.

This feature can be disabled, although it is a rather complicated process.

To do this, you need to enter the privacy settings of the application and disable shadowing there, in some versions you will need to disable it through the general Android settings, and not just in the application. But the owners of Android 5.1 disable tracking Uber will not be possible separately. You have to either turn off tracking from all applications, or leave everything as is.

Representatives of the company Uber claim that tracking is necessary in order to guarantee customers disembarking on the right side of the street and fast delivery of cars. However, it is still not clear why the company should keep track of customers after the trip.
