In Brooklyn, a three-year-old child helped to find the body of a murdered mother

In New York City in Brooklyn, the dead 22-year-old woman Tony Wells was discovered. She was found a few steps away from her own home. Crown Heights, writes NBC.

According to the police, bruises were found on the neck of the woman, and it is possible that she was thrown off the stairs. The case is considered a possible murder.

The woman had a three-year-old daughter. The girl shouted loudly, which attracted the attention of neighbors who called the police.

According to Wells's profile Facebook, in the spring the woman got married. What kind of relationship she had with her husband is unknown. Police are looking for the man to speak with him. The investigation is ongoing.

The police later reported that they had detained the husband of the murdered woman, Barry Wells. He is in custody, charges are pending against him.

The man was detained eight hours after the woman’s body was found. It is reported that the man was first taken to the hospital, as he said that he was trying to commit suicide. After he was examined by doctors, he was taken to the station.

The police said that Barry Wells had one preliminary arrest for the alleged attack on his wife in September of this year. He was released on bail.

In addition, it became known that the police are investigating the behavior of two officers who received a call about problems at home an hour before the body was found. They did not report signs of a dangerous situation.
