Ivy League University students staged a sex competition

The brotherhood claimed that such competitions contradicted its values ​​and mission, and that the leadership of the organization and the fraternity as a whole were “shocked and shocked” by such unauthorized actions of some of their colleagues.

«Zeta Beta Tau horrified by the degradation and/or objectification of women and the impact this has had on men and women in the United States and at Cornell,” the fraternity said in a statement.

The brotherhood stated that it would audit the membership in partnership with its international headquarters and exclude all members suspected of violating the ideals and values ​​of the organization. The fraternity also intends to conduct educational courses on healthy relationships.

During the two-year trial period, the fraternity will need to hire a counselor for combating sexual harassment and violence, undergo an external examination, as well as participate in programs to combat sexual violence.
