American Airlines 36-year-old passenger Charlene Sariann Harriott, who attempted to disrupt the landing of the aircraft, was tied up and her mouth was taped after she tried to bite the flight attendant.

Flight No. XXUMX Airlines American Airlines just started landing, and the crew members took their seats, when suddenly a woman sitting in the last row suddenly got up and ran to the front of the plane, wrote The Washington Post.

The flight attendants asked her to take her place, but the woman ignored their request.

Having reached the first class cabin, the woman continued her way to the cockpit, after which crew members tried to detain her. This caused the passenger to become aggressive; she bit the hand of one flight attendant who tried to stop her, hit one of them with her hand, and kicked the second in the stomach. After landing, they needed to be examined by doctors because they had noticeable injuries.

After that, she had to be tied up and her mouth was taped with tape.

The reason for the outbreak of anger in a woman has not yet been established, she was accused of interfering in the actions of the flight crew members, which is a federal crime.

A woman was arrested, she is waiting in prison for a hearing on her case next week.

Attacking and intimidating a flight crew member is punishable by fine and / or imprisonment for up to 20 years. A person may face life imprisonment if the attack was associated with the use of weapons.
